  7. 1, Remove power, antennas etc.
  8. 2, Turn rig upside down with front of rig facing
  9. away from you, remove bottom cover
  10. 3,  Looking at the back side of the front panel
  11. "logic board"
  12.    just to the side of center, along the bottom (
  13. actually now at the top)  you'll see
  14.    diode D15, this is a typical  non-surface mount
  15. glass diode.
  16. 4, Clip this diode.
  17. 5, Reassemble rig.

  19.  Mod complete.
